The Binational Seminars Mexico-Belize are one of the main activities developed to enhance Academic Cooperation between Mexico and Belize. In 2023, the University of Belize will host the 8th Annual Belize-Mexico Binational Seminar in October. The overarching aim of the seminar is to promote academic collaboration between Mexico and Belize with the long-term goal of institutionalizing education and research exchanges between academic institutions of both countries. The University of Belize, along with the Embassy of Mexico in Belize (EMBAMEX), the Universidad de Quintana Roo (UQROO), El Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR-Chetumal), and Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco (UJAT) are the organizers of this event.
